Have not owned a Shaeffer pen before. I really like this one, probably the best ballpoint i have used other than a Mont Blanc I got as a gift. Barrel is all metal so it has nice heft in the hand, much prefer the twist action to the two piece cap off style. Writing is smooth and clear. The metallic blue with chrome accents is well done and very attractive, looks like it would cost 3-4 times what it does.The stylus works well with my Android, very light touch and reliable action on screen.This is replacing my recently lost Fisher Space pen Tech Touch and I would say I much prefer th Shaffer.
