Ok, now yes it has been a while since I've bought this (back in 2021), now I fell out of drawing for a while... well very long time, and randomly found this recently again, decided to pick the hobby back up, yet to my surprise when just messing around with it, it fell onto my phones screen, and it worked without a charge and without it being on. Now I may be a little slow and may have missed that feature, but even if I did, still quite weird for a rechargable stylus to work without being on AND without a charge. Over all though I'd say its worth it, works well (on and off), smooth lines, and pretty lightweight. Sorry for the long winded review!!
