I has an old At-95E cartilage from a second hand turntable I got and the stylus was bad. At the time, I purchased a Grado Black to replace the cartilage but I never throw away the old AT95E and replaced the cartilage with a knock off (3rd party and cheap) but good enough replacement stylus. I also have another turntable which I mated it with an Ortofon OM. After I upgraded the OM stylus to OM 20, which was an expensive endeavour, the OM did performed as it should, excellent in sound quality and details. I compared it with the AT95E with a cheap 3rd party cartilage and sure enough, the sound quality shows a big gap. But then I started thinking I have to give the AT95E a fair chance and I should compare it with an OEM replacement stylus. So I cough up a few more bucks and purchase this stylus replacement. I put it head to head for the comparison, the OM still sounds better with more details but the AT95E wasn’t a sloucher either. I can see definitely why the AT-95E were the main stay for many turntables. Fact is, a $35 stylus vs a $200 stylus and it still holds its own, so to say, is well worth the praise. In my opinion, it can easily goes head to head with OM10, maybe not as detailed as the OM 20 or the Shure M97xe but the sound quality wasn’t that far behind. For the money, it is of excellent value!!!Very nice sound quality. Very easy installation and adjusting.Very easy to install.I searched far and wide across the internet for the replacement stylus for the Music Hall Spirit. The Spirit is the cartridge that comes with the Music Hall MMF 2.3 Turntable.I found plenty of references that the cartridge was manufactured by Audio Technica. But there weren't any specifics that mentioned it if was actually a clone of an existing AT cartridge.I suspected that might be the AT95E, and researched that further. Still no solid evidence that it's the same cartridge, but the pictures of the stylus certainly looked like what I pulled off of the Spirit. My alternatives appeared to be to order the Music Hall Spirit cartridge as a whole for $100, but that seemed silly. I also found a carbon fiber "upgraded" stylus from LP Gear, but couldn't find any reviews of that one. So I took a $35 gamble and ordered the ATN95E... and it paid off.The stylus was incredibly easy to fit onto the cartridge and played perfectly on my first test. Yes, it's green instead of black and doesn't have the "Music Hall Spirit" text on the front of it, but I do not care. I actually kind of like the green accent to my all-black setup. If you're looking for a replacement stylus for the Music Hall Spirit that came with your MMF-2.3 turntable and wondering if the ATN95E will work, the answer is YES.First time it was packaged without any protection for the needle and it was completely bent. Sent it back and ordered new one. It came, and was a different shade and the logo was smaller than on the original stylus. This is not a real Audio Technica replacement stylus. Audio Technica’s website offers free one day shipping, it’s best to just buy the real replacement directly from them. I returned this stylus and did just that. You should too.Received I day early and was well packaged with no damage. Comes in sturdy plastic case (not cheap plastic like some). It has a beautiful rich sound and really highlights your records. It is a step above the AT95E stylus (which in itself is very good). The AT95E has a freq. response of 20 - 20000 HZ and the ATN95E goes from 15 - 50000 HZ which gives it much more range and better sound reproduction. But the final point is that no matter which stylus or cartridge you use it all depends on the condition of your records as a key factor. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this. A good sounding stylus that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Made in Tokyo, Japan by Audio Technica. 5 STARS........I was worried that replacing this part was going to be super complicated but it was a breeze. Just snap off the broken stylus and snap this new one on! I kept the box so I can purchase from this company again. Very happy with this buy and my records sound even better! For a lower priced stylus, this one delivers. I replaced my headshell with its Goldring (rare and expensive) stylus with the ATN95E compatible headshell. This stylus was a world of difference. I have the tracking set for 1.75 grams and have had no issues. I believe for the price you would be hard pressed to find a better stylus. You do need to pay attention to how they are replaced as it is not quite intuitive as some others. This stylus is current production and is widely popular so availability should be no issue for years to come. I needed a replacement stylus so after reading a bunch of reviews online figured I couldn’t go wrong with this ATM95E. Workhorse of the industry as described. I liked the fact that I received it in original factory packing with the safeguard needle cover. Sounds great. Slightly overpriced but I’m happy with the overall purchase. Not sure why they price the whole cartridge and stylus combo for only $10-$20 more. Why not not just make the price of replacement stylus’s cheaper???? ?????This replacement stylus is a great value. I have a high end turntable and have used different cartridges over the years at various prices. This one sounds tremendous. I usually change the stylus once every year or two as I play a lot of records. Lets hope that Amazon continues to carry these Audio Technica cartridges & replacement stylus for years to come.I own a Stanton mid range Turntable and had Bought an AT95 cartridge a while back. My kids recently broke the needle off playing where they were not supposed to. While waiting for this replacement needle I installed the stylus that came with the table. I thought it sounded good but when I installed the new needle it was night and day. Everything sounded better. Clearer highs, tighter bass, warmer mids. You can't go wrong with this needle
